As the pre-season friendly fixtures continue with Fulham playing Crawley Town today, it appears that we could have seen the last of David Stockdale in a Fulham shirt.

Stockdale, who ousted the Dutch keeper Maarten Stekelenbug last season to claim the keepers` jersey, is being linked with a move to our Championship rivals Brighton and Hove Albion.

A fee of £1 million is being quoted for the services of the 28 year-old keeper Fulham signed from Darlington but who has only made 39 appearances in the six years he`s been at Craven Cottage.

One Reply to “Stockdale Brighton Bound?”

  • The best way to mess with the psyche of your goaltender is to allow rumors like this to abound. What is McGath doing with the GK position. This position has got to be the most secure and consistent spot on the team. Curious if this possible move is being put in motion by Stockdale…Could he be wanting out?
