Fulham`s Dutch keeper, Maarten Stekelenburg, who spent last season on loan at Southampton, has finally severed his ties with Fulham Football Club.

After returning to Craven Cottage with his season long-loan at the south-coast club over, Stekelenburg has joined Everton on a three-year deal.

The deal sees Stekelenburg, who made twenty-five appearances for Southampton last season, renew his association with Ronald Koeman who is now in charge at Goodison Park.

Talking about the Dutch keeper, Koeman has remarked,

‘I know through his professionalism, hardworking approach and personality he will fit in well with what I will be building at Everton.’

But, when it comes to how much Fulham will receive for their keeper, the term ‘undisclosed fee` is used.
