The future of our young French striker, Moussa Dembele, is in the press again this morning.

With the recent departure of Kit Symons, the big question is whether Dembele`s future could also be affected.

It was Symons that gave nineteen year-old Dembele the chance to shine in the first team with the youngster scoring eight times in eighteen appearances this season.

Symons, before he was axed, seemed quite comfortable that Dembele would be remaining at Craven Cottage and that the youngster would be putting his name to a vastly improved contract.

But, this morning, speculation is appearing in the Standard that a move across London might be on the cards.

Our source is inferring that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to add the player to their squad. Now whether Spurs would wait until Dembele`s contract is up at the end of the season and snap the player up on a free and just pay minimal compensation or declare their hand now and buy Dembele before any other interested club can turn the youngsters` head, remains to be seen.

If Moussa Dembele does move to White Hart Lane he would be joining his namesake, Mousa Dembele, who, coincidently, also made the same move.

We`ll watch with baited breath!
