Down at Craven Cottage things are not going to plan.

In fact, there`s the distinct possibility that they could get worse before they get better as we travel to the Hawthorns today to take on a West Bromwich Albion side that have surprised many with their play, and league position, this season.

With his squad still affected by injuries Martin Jol will be left to do his best with what`s left, but, as the Dutchman points out, there is hope with the boss reminding us,

“Swansea (Boxing Day) was probably our best performance over the last couple of months.”

“But we have to pick ourselves up.”

We certainly do otherwise we are in danger of slipping into a downward spiral hat will see us dragged into a relegation battle despite assurances to the contrary from Jol!
