Tonight, Fulham continue their desperate fight to avoid a return to the Championship when they face their fellow relegation strugglers, Southampton, at St Marys’ tonight.
With just eleven games left and with the gap between Fulham and safety being eight points, that nagging feeling that if Fulham don’t get a result tonight, we might just as well accept the inevitable, relegation, refuses to go away.
But it’s hard to get excited about the prospect of a win when Fulham haven’t won an away game, in the Premier League, all season and keeping clean-sheets is something other teams tend to do not us.
But maybe, just maybe, the lads will surprise us tonight and we can go to bed with a smile on our faces instead of the normal scowls.
