Two points lost or a point earned?

Down on the south-coast Fulham came so close to ending a hoodoo that has seen them fail to win, on Southampton soil for so many years.

Trailing to a first half goal, courtesy of a header from Fonte as early as the third minute, Fulham had fought their way into taking a narrow lead.

The equaliser was somewhat fortunate with Hooeveld turning past his own keeper a shot from John Arne Riise that was going wide but the second goal, in the 89th minute scored when Kieran Richardson netted his first goal from Fulham, from ten yards out, appeared to have given us another rare away win.

Sadly, fate was to play a cruel blow. Fulham should have had a free-kick, when Karagounis was fouled, but play was waved on, and seconds later Richardson was penalised for a foul. When the free kick was thrown into the box there was Fonte on hand to head home his second of the game to ensure Southampton had a share of the points.

Two points lost or a point earned?

For me it`s the former, how about you?
