When you are soundly beaten at home I guess it is hard to accept a defeat graciously, even more so when your team is stuck firmly at the bottom of the Championship.

But, after being beaten 3-1 by Fulham yesterday, a result that gave Fulham their first Championship win of the season, the Rotherham United manager Steve Evans was far from gracious in his assessment of how the game went with Evans quoted as having remarked,

“We made two or three errors for each of the Fulham goals.

“We created two or three good chances in the first half and didn`t take them.

“We huffed and puffed in the second half.

“It`s evident that there`s a lot of work to be done. If I was a fan I wouldn`t be happy losing 3-1 at home to Fulham.”

You cheeky git!
