Does that headline worry you? It certainly worries me!
Today, arising to gaze through the Sunday papers, I stumbled across a small article whereby the suggestion that Graeme Souness has expressed an interest in becoming our next manager.
Now there are no direct quotes form the much-travelled Souness indicating that he has spoken to the club just the suggestion, from a friend, who have stressed just how keen the Scot is to get back into Premier League management.
The article also suggests that his fondness for the vacant job may receive something of a boost as he`s admired by our owner, Mr Al Fayed!
Now forgive me for being churlish but I assume Al Fayed admires many people but he isn`t on the verge of appointing them is he?
Let`s just cut to the quick and get John Collins and then all this sort of sensationalist journalism will erode away.
