Our fears that Ryan Sessegnon could be leaving Craven Cottage this summer, have been frequently aired on these pages.
It`s no secret that the big-clubs are looking to lure the 17-year-old away with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City all being mentioned in despatches.
However, even at such a tender age, it`s refreshing to see that Ryan is blessed with that wonderful trait, loyalty.
Back in the summer the youngster could quite easily have succumbed to the pressure to move to pastures new, but he opted to sign a new contract and remain with Fulham, in order to learn his trade and play on a regular basis.
Now, with another summer transfer window approaching, it seems that Ryan could be set to remain at Craven Cottage.
The most popular red-top tabloid publication this country of ours produces, The Sun, is reporting that Ryan would be perfectly happy to remain with Fulham if they can reach the Premier League this season.
With Fulham being the form team in the division, that is a request that could be satisfied.
Although we have hopes of an automatic promotion place, our best hopes of a route to the Premier League may be through the play-offs, as long as we don`t mess it up like last season.
Fingers crossed everybody, and we might just see Ryan gracing Craven Cottage next season, in the Premier League.
