Many of us disapproved of the transfer of Liam Rosenior, many of us thought he was too good a prospect to let leave. However, he`s gone now and it`s time to move on and give the player he was swapped for Seol Ki-Hyeon our full support.

According to reports coming out of Reading, Seol had a strained relationship with the Reading manager, Steve Coppell, and wanted to play every game.

Coppell, speaking during a recent interview, had this to say,

“I think I would probably say to a certain extent, I lost Seol last season by not playing him regularly.”

“It wasn`t said in the open but in the chats we has I knew where he was coming from – and where he wanted to go.”

“That was Fulham, it was obvious from last season,”

“There is a big Korean community by there training ground and he wanted to live there.”

“He spent a lot of time there when he was living in Reading so to make the best of the situation we got in dialogue with Fulham and certain deals were mooted.”

Quite whether Seol plays on a regular basis for Fulham remains to be seen but if Coppell is right then if he doesn`t at least he`ll be able to mix with the Korean community that live close to Motspur Park!
