The word on the terraces is that Zoltan Gera won`t be at Craven Cottage for much longer.
The Hungarian international, frustrated by a lack of regular first team opportunities in recent months, is, supposedly, looking for pastures new this summer.
Yesterday, Zoltan made a fleeting appearance in a Fulham shirt. Coming on as a substitute he saw a little over three minutes of action before seeing red, courtesy of a two-footed tackle that left the referee with no real option other than to send him off.
After the match, Mark Hughes spoke about the Hungarian`s situation and also, briefly, that red card, commenting,
“We would be disappointed if Zoltan`s Fulham career ended on that note. We hope that`s not the last we see of him here.”
We suspect it could well be!
