Sanchez – Barking up the wrong tree!

Okay, in a way I was pleased we got a point against Blackburn yesterday (Sunday), as on reflection we were second best in most departments.

Unfortunately, once again, Lawrie Sanchez seems intent on stirring it up with the referee`s boss, Keith Hackett, instead of concentrating on other matters.

In his post match interview, he once again lamented those decisions that have gone against us explaining,

“We`re not getting any decisions.”

“It must get rather embarrassing for Keith to keep showing these mistakes at his weekly conferences because my DVD collection of errors is just about 15 minutes long, and that`s just 14 games this season”

Personally, I’d have much preferred it if he`d have pledged to sort out the schoolboy errors that have plagued us all season and cost us far more points than a few refereeing errors.

We`ve now played fourteen games, as Lawrie has been quick to remind us, and we`ve won TWO.

It`s a dreadful record for someone having spent in excess of £25 million in the transfer market in the summer and with a trip to Old Trafford (not to look forward to) those stats will get bleaker.

It`s going to be a long hard winter. That pre-season faith I had has just about drained away!
