There were a few anxious faces in the Craven Cottage stands when Bryan Ruiz was carried off on Saturday, against West Brom.
At the time it looked as if the injury he had suffered was a serious one with it first being feared that the 28 year-old had suffered a fractured ankle.
Thankfully, that isn`t the case with it being leaked to the press that the ankle was only badly bruised with a club source quoted as having remarked,
“The early signs suggest the injury to Bryan is better than first feared.”
Ruiz is now expected to be available for selection when we visit Stamford Bridge this Saturday.
