Up in Yorkshire this afternoon, Fulham got their first win of the new Championship campaign and earning all three points in the 3-1 win over Rotherham.

Coming on the back of a 3-0 victory over Sheffield United in the Capital One Cup, it has been a good week for the Cottagers.

Fulham opened the scoring early on when Ben Pringle, ironically signed from Rotherham in the summer, scored against his old club from close range.

The lead was doubled before half-time when Ross McCormack, in a rich vein of scoring form, netted from the penalty spot after our midweek loan signing, from Middlesbrough, James Husband had been fouled by Greg Halford.

Our hosts tried to get back into the game but were hampered when Matt Derbyshire, formerly of Blackburn, missed from the penalty spot.

There was a scare for Fulham when Jonson Clarke-Harris reduced the deficit but those fears were eased in the 90th minute when Cauley Woodrow netted in the final minute.

Onwards and upwards as they say!
