With no fixture this weekend, courtesy of the international break, Fulham supporters have to wait until the following weekend for their fix of football.

But next weekend it isn`t any ordinary game, with Fulham now embroiled in a battle to stay in the Championship and avoid the dreaded drop into League One, the fixture against MK Dons takes on even more importance.

Like ourselves, the MK Dons are also trapped in a relegation battle and they are a side that are currently occupying one of the relegation places.

Already the game is being billed as the biggest of our season so far, a win would go a long way to reaffirming the belief we`re too good to go down whilst a defeat would dump us into the bottom three.

With the game still over a week away, our defender, Tim Ream, has spoken about the game and is thankful that not too many of the squad have been called up for international duty.

Talking about the fixture, Ream has remarked,

“I think the key over the last eight games is coming in with absolute intensity from the first minute and hopefully that puts us in a good position come the final game.

“You have to come out and play with that intensity in every match from here until the end because every team is doing it.”

And as for only four players being called up, Ream added,

“We`re already focusing on different aspects of our style, the game we want to play and the tactics we want to come in with. We`ll continue to do that throughout the next 10 days.

“I think it`s good that the majority of the guys are still here and we can really focus on what is going to turn out to be probably the biggest game of the year.”

Anyone care to offer a prediction on how Fulham will do against the MK Dons next weekend?
