It`s back to Championship action this afternoon, following the 2-0 EFL Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers, Fulham travel to Berkshire to take on Reading this afternoon.

After the opening day draw, against Norwich City, Fulham will be hoping to get their first Championship win of the season today.

Ahead of the fixture, we have some very early team-news.

Starting with our hosts, Reading:

Jaap Stam will be able to call upon the services of his captain, Paul McShane, who has now served the three-game ban he received for the red card in the play-off semi-final last season.

Stam is also hoping to have the option to play his striker, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, who has recovered from an ankle injury.

Continuing with Fulham:

Slavisa Jokanovic is likely to recall Tom Cairney, David Button, Stefan Johansen, Tomas Kalas and Oliver Norwood to the starting eleven all were rested for the EFL Cup trip to Wycombe.

Also available is Kevin McDonald, with the midfielder having returned to training in midweek.

Definitely not available is Marcus Bettinelli with the keeper still troubled by a hamstring injury.
