Ranieri Set To Pluck A Gem From Obscurity As Fulham Look Set To Enter The January Transfer Market

|

Nobody will ever, in the history of the Premier League, forget the monumental rise Leicester City made to claim the Premier League title, under the managerial acumen of Claudio Ranieri.

Whilst at the King Power Stadium, Ranieri proved to be very astute when it came to the transfer market, bringing in players that were not exactly household names but then turning them into a formidable team that were able to live with the best.

With Fulham in dire straits and with relegation staring them in the face, you get the feeling that with the transfer window open for just two more weeks, Ranieri will need to work some similar magic if Fulham are to survive.

This morning, Fulham are being linked with a player who isn’t that familiar to us, perhaps echoing the thoughts of the opening few paragraphs of this article.

According to the news source, ESPN, Fulham are interested in signing Joseph Attamah.

Attamah is a 24-year-old Ghanaian who is currently on the books of the Turkish side, Istanbul Basaksehir.

As we said, he’s not a household name but we’re hoping that Ranieri is set to pluck another gem from obscurity.
