With Mido being heavily tipped to become the first signing of the close season, Fulham appear to have missed out on the signing of a promising player.
Lee Cook, the exciting winger playing for our West London rivals, Queens Park Rangers, is thought to have been the subject of a bid from Fulham.
However, gauging by the feedback received from Queens Park Rangers, it would appear that the fee offered wasn`t enough to entice the Championship side into a deal with their chairman, Gianni Paladini remarking,
“Lee is one of our prized assets and we won`t be letting him go unless the price is right.”
It`d be interesting to find out exactly how much we offered in order to gauge how much the Loftus Road outfit might consider to be a respectable offer.
Anyone got any clues?
