As the 2016 / 2017 season draws nearer by the day, transfer speculation relating to Fulham boosting their squad continues to gather momentum.

Today (Sunday), the Daily Mail, Click Here, is implying that Fulham have taken the former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin on trial.

Faurlin, an Argentine, sent seven seasons at Loftus Road but found much of his time there disrupted by injury.

Still just 29-years-old, Faurlin made over one hundred and forty matches for our West London rivals, including thirty last season.

The suggestion is that Queens Park Rangers didn`t want to let Faurlin leave but their decision to operate with a smaller squad left them little room for manoeuvre.

Whether Faurlin gets the contract offer he deserves will depend on how, naturally, the trial goes, but he could be an asset to the squad.
