The emphatic victory against Bolton, up at the Reebok Stadium, has set u sup nicely for the Bank Holiday clash with near-neighbours Chelsea.
Following the 3-0 win, Martin Jol had a few words of praise for his team and Clint Dempsey in particular, with the Dutchman remarking,
“They did really well. I am pleased with all of the guys.”
“Clint will always be on the end of things, he is eager to score. He was the only striker we had and the ideal solution for us. He scored most of his goals from wide positions this season which is quite amazing.”
“We defended well and kept the ball well, we will get chances because we play good football.”
Bring on Chelsea is all I can say!
