The latest transfer speculation has Martin Jol linked with the acquisition of a former Portuguese U21 international.

Seemingly, Jol fancies bringing Paulo Regula to Craven Cottage.

Regula, now 23, is currently playing in the Portuguese second division with Naval going there on loan from the Portuguese first division side Olhanese.

As for a price, the comparatively small sum of £400,000 would, we are told, be enough to swing a deal.
