Brought in to replace Bobby Zamora, could we possibly get a glimpse of Pavel Pogrebnyak soon?
Well perhaps not but it looks as if he could at lest be training with the squad come the back end of the week as Martin Jol has commented in the tabloid press,
“I hope we will see him in training at the end of the week – Thursday or Friday.”
“He`s not had a great couple of years but if he had we wouldn`t have got him.”
“You have to take them when they`re playing badly. Otherwise they are not on the market.”
“I spoke to Guus Hiddink and Dick Advocaat about him, he`s got 45 caps and he`s had some great spells.”
“It`s a good opportunity for him and us but he has to prove it now.”
