It was the sort of tackle that makes you wince.
When John Pantsil mistimed his tackle and caught Eboue, there were many around me who thought he should receive a card of some sorts.
As it was the referee simply awarded a free kick.
Sadly, it looks like we could become the first victims of the video camera this season.
Moves are afoot to get the referee to take a look at the challenge again to see if it was worthy of a yellow or a red card.
If the referee deems he missed something then Pantsil could be looking at a three game ban if red is deemed the necessary colour!
Doh!

Pantsil is pants. Although imo it wasn’t a straight red card, yellow maybe!
People constantly claim that a free-kick was only awarded. I could have sworn that the free-kick was in OUR favour and was given for a foul BEFORE that, in which case the information being given out is inaccurate, as no Arsenal free-kick was given!
To be honest it wasn’t a brilliant tackle but his tackles kept us in the game!
one mis-timed challenge and they want to hang him – that’s what happens when Arsenal get beat!
Doesn’t deserve any ban. RussianHammer, yopur just missing him, so far he has been superb for us!
His sins will find him out!!
he played brilliant all game an we need players to be going in hard in tackles
he prays too much to have sins!
Well said, to be honest, if I were to refer any tackles to the video referee it would have been Danny Murphy’s BLATENT intentional trip on the edge of the box that really should have got him a straight red but saved us the game!
