News has filtered through that the Australian Under-23 defender, Adrian Leijer, has signed for Fulham on a three-year deal.
Sanchez swooped for the 21-year-old, who was named Young Player of the Year in the Australian A-League last year believing that his ability will enable him to succeed in the hurly-burly of the English Premiership.

He is a very good centre back, you have got yourselves a winner with this lad. Im a Melbourne Victory fan and i can tell you hes a good all round defender – tall, good in the air, reasonably quick, an excellent tackler and not to bad technically either (can pass and has control). Responsible for a lot of clean sheets!

I’m sure he’ll be the unsung hero of this season iv’e seen him play and he is a fantastic defender he should be in the first team all season.
As I’ve not yet seen him I’ll reserve my judgement but I’l give him my support!
