Over at Wycombe yesterday, one of youngsters out on loan had a remarkable day.

Marcello Trotta led the Wycombe attack with aplomb and scored a hat-trick as Wycombe demolished Exeter City 3-1.

This exploit, witnessed by his family who had flown over to watch him play, also cost Wycombe a few bob.

Beforehand they`d promised fans who had purchased tickets in advance their money back if Trotta scored!

After the game, Trotta received the following praise from the Wycombe manager, Gary Waddock,

“Marcello was magnificent for us today.”

“He`s on fire and long may it continue. He`s very talented and has bags of potential.”

And as for the man himself, he added,

“That is a very special feeling, especially for my parents.”

At nineteen years of age, he remains a name to look out for!
