The story being touted around is that Fulham made an unsuccessful approach for Mark Noble but were met with a no-go from his current club, West Ham United.
Noble, at 25 years of age, would have been a sound investment but obviously West Ham perceives the midfielder as being a key cog in their quest to maintain their Premier League status this season.
