Recently, it has been suggested that Fulham could be looking at signing the Queens Park Rangers forward Jamie Mackie.
As the transfer window closure draws closer, the general feeling is that this is a move that is unlikely to happen.
Even more so when you read that Harry Redknapp, engaging in his usual mega-transfer day activity, is lining up a deal that would see Mackie go to Stoke as part of the deal that would bring Peter Crouch to Loftus Road.
