Not Even An Olive Branch Offer Can Stop Fulham Striker From Leaving

|

There comes a stage, in every players’ career, when a stay at one particular club just has to end.

For Aboubakar Kamara, it would appear that time has come.

After a series of misdemeanours, the most recent of which was being arrested at the training ground, it appears that not even the olive branch offered by Claudio Ranieri can prolong his relatively short stay.

The BBC are reporting that the striker has arrived in Istanbul, to a fervent reaction, as a move to Yeni Malatyaspor becomes nearer to reality.

In a transfer window whereby we’d hoped that the club would utilise the possibility to bolster the squad by bringing in some talent, it’s a bit alarming to, for the first article of transfer deadline day, to be writing about a probable departure.

Is it too much to hope, as the day progresses, the situation will change?

Let’s hope so.
