A stoppage time goal denied Fulham all three points this afternoon and a rare away victory.

But, if I were to be perfectly honest I`d say a draw was a fair result even if Martin Jol looked haunted by the late equaliser as he prowled the technical area.

With Johnson and Zamora not available Jol stuck with those, up front, who had served him so well during our 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

For once, on our travels, we got off to a decent start, after Stockdale had saved Senderos` blushes by clearing up after a poor back-pass, we took an early lead.

A sweet passing move saw Sa shoot home, with his right foot, from twenty yards out. It could have been the signal for a Fulham onslaught with Sa only being denied a second when after having rounded the Norwich keeper, Ruddy, saw his goal bound effort cleared off the line.

Norwich burst into life and forced three corners in quick succession which resulted in efforts from Surman, Johnson and Morrison almost getting the home side level.

Riise, from fully thirty-five yards out, saw his free kick far from trouble Ruddy and when Sa saw his header hit the bar you knew this was a game that was going to continue to flow from end to end.

Frei, cutting inside and beating a couple of defenders, saw Ruddy save his shot before Senderos survived a handball scare just before half time.

Half Time – Norwich 0 Fulham 1

Norwich introduced Grant Holt at the start of the second half but Fulham looked comfortable. Pilkington and Surman, for the home side, saw shots blocked and go wide respectively, before a shot from Johnson hit the bar.

Fulham were forcing Norwich to shoot from range and Morrison, Pilkington and Naughton all had attempts that didn`t rattle the net. Before Surman saw a shot go wide from twenty yards.

Holt saw a header go over from six yards and you thought we`d held out enough to take all three points but that wasn`t to be the case as deep into stoppage time Jackson headed home from close range to give Norwich a share of the spoils.

Football can be so cruel can`t it?
