International breaks, the bane of a Vital editors life!
News is scarce, rumours dry up and the frustrations get taken out on the wife and kids.
Thankfully, we do have a few scraps of news that have surfaced today, but scraps is probably the best way to describe them.
The first surrounds Simon Davies who, in a recent interview, has lamented on his failure to score so often as he advances in age.
Davies, who has been in decent form this season, is looking to improve his goal output and has remarked,
” When I was younger I used to score a lot more, so it is obviously something I`m aiming to do.”
Perhaps Simon should hang on to an old saying handed down to me by my grandfather which suggested, you`re only as old as you think you are, that way the goals might start flying in.
The second snippet relates to Aaron Hughes. Our signing from Aston Villa has been lamenting our current status, whereby we find ourselves in the bottom three and proposed in a recent interview that it is time Fulham realised their potential, remarking,
“There`s a point where you have to be there?
