My Favourite Fulham Player, Part One

I am seriously bored as my exams are now finished so I have so much time on my hands.

Having read today on the official site that Barry Hayles is to lead the line in the Masters Tournament, this led me to recall some memories of Barry in his prime.

When Barry was at the club, he was my favourite player. I was seven years old when he signed and his goal-scoring, work ethic and all round brilliance impressed me.

I was naive to some fans criticism as Barry was my hero and I was particularly pleased to see him play a pivotal role in the Tigana Division One season romp, where despite his lack of flair he still forced his way in to the side.

My personal favourite Barry Hayles memory would have to be his hat trick versus Watford in the Boxing Day victory. That was the day as well that I knew promotion was in the bag as we had blown away a potential rival.
