My late father always used to tell me that it was foolish to comment on something you knew very little about.
Therefore, I can`t help but laugh at the most recent put down of the Reading lad, Dave Kitson, who last week foolishly dismissed the FA Cup as being akin to irrelevant.
It comes from our own man of the moment Danny Murphy.
Danny, who already has an FA Cup winner`s medal, had a sly dig at Kitson when remarking,
“The lad at Reading – I`ve forgotten his name – is entitled to his opinion”
Nice one Danny!
Perhaps Kitson will now realise the sheer folly of his comment, or as my late old man would have said,
Don`t comment on something you know nothing about!”
