Earlier this week the inference, from the tabloid press, was that Danny Murphy was set to put pen to paper on a new deal at Craven Cottage.
Unfortunately, the tabloid press are now suggesting things are not that cut and dried.
They`re inferring that Danny isn`t too impressed by the offer of a one-year contract and Steve Kean, who has worked with Danny before, is looking to take the thirty-five year old into the Championship to help revitalize Blackburn Rovers.
Will Danny be tempted? We`d suggest not!
