Sky Sports are reporting that Swansea have had a bid for David Stockdale turned down.

The bid is thought to be in the region of £3 million and was to secure the services of our young keeper.

The satellite channel is subsequently reporting that Stockdale has admitted he wouldn`t mind a move to the Liberty Stadium, on loan, to get some first team football.

We`ll keep a watch on this one as it could have some more mileage in it!

  • we need him what with the europa leauge he should be our No 1 some time soon me thinks

  • mark’s last season and with jol signing the hungarian, it gonna be between him and stockdale for the future with maybe one of the junior keepers as no. 3?

  • I do hope we don’t lose Stockdale, he has all the qualities of a top draw keeper and he could be our #1 for years to come if we keep doing well and progress as a club

  • we need to hold onto him, but i don’t mind letting him go on loan to a premier league team for one year… look what it did for hart to play at birmingham… as long as we have support for schwarzer, i think it’s a good move…
