After making his comeback, from suspension, our striker, on loan from Roma, has suggested our game is lacking something.

Speaking to an unknown source, Montella bemoaned the lack of atmosphere (probably at Craven Cottage) compared to that of Serie A.

Here`s what he had to say,

“The thing I miss most about Italy is the great passion for the sport the fans have”

“Obviously I mean the positive and legal support that transforms into sheer love for the squad. In England, people go to the stadium as if they were going to the theatre.”

Perhaps somebody should have warned him, before he agreed to sign on loan, that our own Craven Cottage is one of the most sedate grounds in the Premiership.
