One of the most disappointing aspects of our campaign last season, a season that ended in the onset of relegation, was the signing of Kostas Mitroglou.

Signed from Olympiakos, for a huge fee of £12.4 million, Mitroglou only made three appearances and failed to find the net.

It transpires that Fulham still owe the Greek outfit huge chunks of that reference fee and the intimation is that the player will be sold, quite possibly back to Olympiakos.

However we understand a deal will not be finalised until Mitroglou`s interest in the World Cup, with Greece, is over.

To us here at Vital Fulham, that can`t come soon enough.
