This Saturday, Fulham make the trip to the north-west to take on the reigning Premier League title holders, Manchester City.
It is a game that the pundits expect Fulham to lose, but then again is football not a game full of shocks and surprises?
If Fulham can go to the Etihad Stadium and get a result it would be a marvellous achievement, but, just the prospect of facing the champions in their own backyard is something we were dreaming of this time last year.
Fulham may not get a result, but this fixture gives us the perfect opportunity to gauge just how far we’ve come in the last twelve months.
