As the new season draws painfully slowly nearer, there is another transfer rumour appearing in the press this morning.
It infers that Martin Jol has his eyes on a young Dutch lad who has already made his mark at international level for the U19 Dutch side.
His name is Chris David (I know, not very Dutch is it) and he is rated in the £2 million bracket.
He is currently on the books of the Dutch side FC Twente with his agent, Fabio Alho, confirming our interest by remarking to the media, about his situation,
“Fulham and Ajax both want to be kept informed.”
Who`d have believed it years ago, little old us challenging the once mighty Ajax for the signature of a player!
