It`s back to the bread-and-butter of the Championship for Fulham this weekend after their brief dalliance with the FA Cup last weekend.

The Cottagers face a long trip to Teeside to take on Middlesbrough.

Ahead of the game we`ve cobbled together some early team-news.

Starting with our hosts Middlesbrough:

Now managed by Tony Pulis, our hosts are reporting that they have no new injury concerns following their 3d round FA Cup win against Sunderland, last time out.

However, a cagey statement suggests that a couple of Middlesbrough players, without naming names, are carrying minor knocks and will be assessed before the game.

Continuing with Fulham:

The club has confirmed that Floyd Ayite will miss the game with a calf injury.

Also, our club captain, Tom Cairney is considered a doubt for the match with a knee problem.

Two players who missed the FA Cup defeat at the hands of Southampton, Marcus Bettinelli and Kevin McDonald are back in training and could be considered for selection.
