With Fulham safe, the time between now and the start of next season needs to be used to turnaround our fortunes on a permanent basis.

Getting three wins out of four games may be a step in the right direction, but consistency over a whole season is what we need.

Naturally, Fulham need to do their utmost to hang on to their better players, with one of those being Ross McCormack.

But to do that it looks as if Fulham will have to hold off the advances of Brighton and Hove Albion, with the south-coast side, this morning, linked with a move to acquire the services of the Scottish striker in an article in the Sun this morning.

The 29-year-old striker is certainly a prime target for any team looking to play Premier League football having scored 23 times this season and 17 last season.

However, I`m guessing it boils down to ambition, do Fulham have the ambition to hang on to their star striker or perhaps our star striker would quite fancy a go at Premier League football.

It remains to be seen!
