Speculation relating to the future of Martin Jol has hit the pages of one of the red-top tabloids this morning.

The inference is there that Martin may be leaving Craven Cottage and that the Brighton and Hove Albion manager, Gus Poyet will be taking over.

Poyet`s status as a manger has grown following his spell at Brighton and the fact that the south-coast side lost out on a chance of promotion to the Premier League, after losing the Championship play-off semi-final to Crystal Palace.

Rumours abound that Poyet may leave Brighton feeling that he`s taken the south-coast club as far as he can. Further credence is given to the possibility that Poyet could be bound for Craven Cottage by the fact that the odds on Poyet succeeding Jol have been reduced dramatically by the bookmakers.

We`ll just wait and see shall we!
