Yesterday, we reported on how the press perceived that we were interested in the Argentine striker Maxi Lopez.
We also told how the sporting director of his current club had announced that Fulham had shown an interest in acquiring the Argentine.
But, the latest inference is that the deal has hit problems with his club, Calcio Catania, being told that Fulham are not interested in paying a whopping £10 million for a player who made 14 appearances for Barcelona without making the grade and who is twenty-seven years of age.
There`s also the suggestion that the player has no intention of leaving Italian football to contend with!
