We`re one game into Roy Hodgson`s England managerial career, an away victory in Oslo, but still the situation regarding compensation for Ray Lewington has yet to be settled.

Trying to clarify the situation, with Fulham apparently demanding a £1 million fee, the Club England managing director Adrian Bevington has remarked to the tabloid press,

“We are delighted to have Ray for the tournament. He has worked with Roy extensively and is an experienced coach.”

“He is a Fulham employee so Ray Lewington is with us for the tournament and that is all I can say.”

I`d love to know what Ray thinks of the situation though!
