The grapevine is still inferring that Everton are keen to lure Clint Dempsey to Goodison Park.
Following on from our 4-0 defeat on Saturday, it wouldn`t surprise me if Clint`s head was turned, but in his post match interview with the media, Billy McKinlay expressed his views on Clint`s future, remarking,
“I think it is vital to keep Clint. He has been outstanding this season and I am sure the club will be doing everything in its power to keep him.”
“He has been a vital player for us and hopefully, we shall get that one tidied up.”
The sooner the better I`d say!
