Keen to Stay!

Despite expressing, earlier this season, our fears that the remarkable Clint Dempsey might be poached this summer, it appears the American is happy as things are.

In fact one tabloid paper is reporting that Clint is keen to sign a new deal. Clint`s current contract expires in 2013 and when pressed on the subject, the midfielder who has already netted 16 times this season is quoted as having remarked,

“I`m happy here. I`ll see what the future holds.”

Now that has brought a smile to my face.
