There are just two matches remaining of the 2015 / 2016 Championship campaign.

This weekend, in the penultimate fixture, Fulham make the short trip across West London to take on our rivals, Brentford.

Fulham then close the season when they play hosts to relegated Bolton Wanderers, thereby bringing to an end a season that has been far from satisfactory as the club, once again, flirted with relegation.

Hopefully next season will be so much better, even more so with our chairman Shahid Khan suggesting that money will be made available for Slavisa Jokanovic to, as Shahid puts it, build a team capable of promotion.

In an open letter to the Fulham supporters, Khan has remarked,

‘The complete support and passion of our loyal fans will be crucial as we begin our first full season under Slavisa`s direction and take aim at promotion, and that`s why season ticket prices will not increase next season”

Many might suggest that after some of the fare served up to us this season, a reduction in season ticket prices would be more appropriate.

However, the fact that money is promised to revamp the side is good news, let`s just hope it is not wasted.
