Another Premier League fixture has come and gone and Fulham have yet to add to their only win of the season.
The latest fixture saw Fulham soundly beaten, at home, by Eddie Howe’s emerging Bournemouth side with Fulham losing 3-0.
After the latest defeat, which leaves us with just five points from a possible thirty available, the Fulham support were highly critical of Slavisa Jokanovic, with some calling for a change in the managerial hot-seat, as covered by Vital Fulham, Click Here.
Following the latest defeat, Jokanovic offered the following excuses to the BBC:
“We have enough quality to score but we can’t find a way to find a clean sheet. The Premier League is tough not just for us but for many clubs. We are making expensive mistakes.”
Indeed, we remain the only team in the Premier League, this season, who have not kept a clean sheet, a damning statistic.
When pressed about his future, Jokanovic had this to say:
“I am not thinking about my future. I will be ready for the next challenge. I am living my present and that is today a very hard defeat. I must be brave and keep going and encourage my team.”
With some difficult looking fixtures looming large, including a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool, the sands of time could, I feel, be running out for the Serbian.
