As Fulham prepare to take on Brighton and Hove Albion, at the Amex Arena, tonight the future of one of our players is starting to generate column inches in the media.

The player in question is Moussa Dembele our talented 19-year-oldstriker who has already been linked with a move to a Premier League club or, indeed, back to mainland Europe.

Back in the January transfer window it looked as if Dembele was going to join Spurs, however any deal suggested supposedly floundered over Fulham`s insistence that Dembele returned to Craven Cottage, on loan, for the remainder of the season.

Nestling amongst the sport content of the media vehicle GetWestLondon is an interesting inference.

The suggestion is being bandied about that our manager, Slavisa Jokanovic, is of the opinion that he will be able to persuade the teenager to stay on at Craven Cottage for one more year before he makes a definitive decision about his future.

Could Jokanovic be hoping that he can steer Fulham to promotion next season and that the lure of Premier League football, with Fulham, might see Dembele stay for the long term?

Your thoughts on the subject matter would be most welcome.
