Johnson – Two Choices!

The tabloid press is suggesting that Andrew Johnson had to make a choice between two destinations after calling time on his Fulham career.

According to his agent, Anthony McFarlane, AJ had the chance to move to the United Arab Emriates (UAE) and was contemplating such a move before Mark Hughes decided that he quite fancied pairing AJ back with Bobby Zamora (who Queens Park Rangers signed in the January transfer window).

AJ, now thirty-one year of age, and a player who played 33 times for Fulham last season, and who cost Fulham a cool £10.5 million when he signed for us from Everton in 2008, obviously fancies a short trip across West London to further his career rather than a complete uproot to the Middle East, a fact borne out by the fact news has just filtered through that AJ has signed a two year deal for our local rivals.

Can`t say I really blame him, can you?
