Collins John finally decided to take Adrian Boothroyd up on that offer of a date (see previous articles) and upon arriving has been quick to utter all the right words.
John, who is on loan until the end of the season whereby the move may then be made final, had this to say,
“I know I have to win the fans over.”
“But once I have shaken off this injury I am looking forward to doing what I do, scoring goals.”
“That`s what I want personally – but for the team, promotion is vital.”
What a sensible young man or do those quotes come from the – joining a new club handbook?
